What is a registry or staffing agency?

A registry or staffing agency provides per diem or healthcare personnel to hospitals, extended care facilities, clinics and medical offices.

Am I under any obligation after submitting my application?

No. Your application is used to qualify you for hiring purposes. You can choose to work registry now or in the future.

What are the minimum requirements of experience?

You must have at least 12 months of paid experience in your specialty and be up to date on all certifications and health documents.

What certifications are required to work registry?

All registry personnel must have a current CPR card from an instructor accredited by the American Heart Association. Also needed are any advanced CPR classes as required by your specialty (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) and either a diploma or current certification in your specialty. Be sure to include your IAHCSMM, CBSPD or other advanced certifications.

What medical documentation must I provide 365 Healthcare Staffing Services with to work as a registry nurse?

Each employee (with the exception of non-hospital medical assistants) must have a current physical, TB skin test or chest x-ray, as well as immunization records or titer reports indicating immunity to Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella. A drug screen is also required, at our expense. Some facilities require further compliance documentation, but these are the bare minimum requirements. Please note: outside of the drug screen, we do not subsidize any of the above mentioned medical documents for our candidates.
